WHO WE ARE:
We are the Barony of North Woods. We are a local branch of the Society for Creative Anachronism covering the mid-Michigan area. Our Barony is just one group within the Middle Kingdom . Within our borders, you will find the Canton of Ealdnordwuda, the Canton of Wealdlake, the Canton of Fearann na Criche, and the Riding of Hawkland Moor.

WHAT WE DO:
The SCA is an international organization dedicated to researching and re-creating the arts and skills of pre-17th-century Europe. Our “Known World” consists of 20 kingdoms, with over 30,000 members around the world. Members, dressed in clothing and armor of the Middle Ages, attend events featuring tournaments, royal courts, feasts, dancing, various classes & workshops, and more.

The Barony of North Woods includes portions of Ingham, Eaton, Clinton, Gratiot, Shiawassee, Livingston, Oakland, and Macomb Counties.
